Practical examples and illustrations

Chart 5 clearly illustrates many of the points exposed so far. It is quite a dramatic case.
It belongs to a female native who had a severe car accident where she broke the intestines, the spine, (some spinal nerves) remaining without sensitivity on the legs and feet, incapable to walk for a long time. As a result of the injury she lost sensitivity on the sexual and urinary organs also and couldn't control over the sphincter muscles and had to urinate through a medical catheter.
After a few years she started to practice Yoga and got back much of her mobility and sphincter control and soon after she started to walk with the help of crutches. The feet remain without sensitivity and are still now the weakest area and main obstacle for normal walking.

We can clearly see the affliction to the 6 th house, the hose of accidents and sudden injuries.
The lagna lord is placed on the 6 th house, retrograde and afflicted by 4 malefics: Saturn, aspect of the Sun, and Rashi aspect of Rahu and Ketu.
The 6 th house lord is debilitated, on the 12 th house and severely combust by the Sun and aspected by Saturn and Mars (karaka of accidents), and Rashi aspected by Rahu and Ketu (karaka of accidents).
The 6 th house is also the intestines, which broke during the accident, and the 12 th house is the feet.
The affliction to the legs is seen on the 10 th lord Saturn, placed on the 6 th house with mars.
Using the Chandra lagna we can also see the affliction the 6 th house where there is combustion, a debilitated planet (mercury) who is also the malefic ruler of the 12 th house
That house is also aspected by Saturn and Mars. The 12 th house (feet) from moon is also afflicted by Saturn and mars and its ruler is debilitated and combusted on the 6 th house.
From Surya lagna , the 6 th house lord , the Sun, is afflicting the ascendant together with debilitated Mercury.
The affliction to the urinary system is shown by retrograde Jupiter placed on the 7 th house
In spite of all the strong adverse factors, the benefic Jupiter lord of the 9 th house is aspecting the ascendant and the Moon, bringing some protection and blessings and therefore the native is slowly recovering and going back to a normal life, with the help of a spiritual and yoga teacher (Jupiter-Guru)

Here we can see clearly the importance and relevance of the D6 shashtamsa chart.
The D6 lagna is severely afflicted by Rahu and Ketu afflicting the moon, the 12 th lord. The D6 lagna lord is on the 8 th house, afflicted by Saturn, ruler of the 6 th house and debilitated mercury
Mercury is the D1 6 th house lord and is also debilitated on the 8 th house of the D6, and aspected by Mars
The affliction to the urinary and genital organs can be seen also on the D6. The 7 th house lord is placed on the 8 th house, with a debilitated mercury and aspected by Mars, the 12 th lord Sun, and Rahu-Ketu

The lagna is aspected by Saturn, Mars and the Moon from Aries (accidents)

The Vimshottari Dasha at the time of the accident was Saturn-Mercury
Saturn is placed on the 6 th house, conjunct the lagna lord. Mercury is the ruler of the 6 th house, debilitated and combusted on the 6 th .

Transits
The Lagna lord Mars is debilitated on the 4 th house (car accidents) and conjunct Rahu and combusted by the Sun.
Ketu is transiting the 10 th house from lagna (legs)
Saturn is transiting the 6 th house from Moon lagna, and it is aspecting the 4 th house from lagna and the debilitated lagna lord. Saturn is the Maha dasha lord.
Look at Saturn's ashtakavarga, it has 0 points, a very adverse position.

Chart 6
Chart 2 is a case of short longevity and death by car accident
The native died on a car accident, together with his father, when he was 32 years old.

D1
The lagna lord is afflicted by being in close conjunction (planetary war) with the ruler of the 12 th house. Mercury also rules the 9 th house (father). It also conjunct the Sun which is a karaka for the father, and the malefic lord of the 11 th house (6 th from the 6 th)
The 8 th house is afflicted by Rahu-Ketu axis plus Jupiter, the lord of the 6 th and 3 rd houses, an important malefic for Libra lagna
The ruler of the 8 th house (who rules the lagna too) is in close conjunction, planetary war with the 12 th house lord mercury, and Sun

The 8 th house is aspected by Mars (accidents) and who is also the double Maraka, ruler of the 2 nd and 7 th house.

Dasha
The native died in Saturn-Jupiter-Rahu Vimshottari dasha
Jupiter is the 6 th lord placed in the 8 th house together with Rahu. Jupiter is the D30 lagna lord placed on the 12 th house.
The Yogini Dasha was Rahu-Venus-Venus. Rahu is on the 8 th house, and Venus is the lagna and 8 th house lord, severely afflicted by the 12 th and 11 th lords and aspected by Ketu. In the D30, Rahu is the 6 th lord on the 12 th house.

Transits
At the moment of death, the sun was Transiting over the 6 th house (at the same degree of the birth chart lagna) and afflicted and afflicting by combustion the debilitated Mercury, who is the 12 th lord of the birth chart afflicting the lagna and 8 th house lord.
Saturn was in the 12 th house from the Moon, on the 1 st face of the Sade-Sati.
The maraka Mars, ruler of 2 nd and 7 th houses of birth chart is transiting over the Moon lagna, together with Venus the 8 th and 1 st afflicted lord.

Chart 8
		Chart 8 belongs to a native who has asthma, and constant respiratory problems, excessive phlegm, infections, sometimes even severe long congestion. The moon is on the lagna showing a Kapha constitution. The lagna lord is on the 4th house (chest) severely combust by the Sun, who is the 12th house lord and in close aspect with Saturn, lord of the 6th house and aspected by Mars, lord of the 8th house. The 4th house lord Jupiter is also suffering combustion and conjunction with the 12th, 6th lords and aspect from Mars, lord of 8th. Since the moon is on lagna, the same situation applies from Moon lagna. From Surya lagna, again the 4th house lord and lagna lord Jupiter is suffering the severe combustion, conjuncts Saturn being the 3rd lord.
Chart 9

Chart 9
This is a female native who has an undeveloped uterus. She had two children but they had to be delivered through surgery . Relationship with the children have been also difficult, and marriage also didn’t work causing a lot of suffering to the native.
The other difficult area is the knees. There is almost constant pain on the knees. One leg it shorter than the other. The doctors diagnosed that she has a problem on the bones and skeleton.
The 7th house represents marriage, partnership and the reproductive organs. The lagna lord is on the 7th house conjunct Mercury, ruler of the 6th house and aspected by Ketu
The ruler of the 7th house, the Moon is afflicted by Rahu on the 5th house of children, pregnancy and deliver and it is on the 6th house in the Navamsa chart. The ruler of the 5th house is Venus who is debilitated and conjunct Mars.
D30 shows the 12th lord Saturn afflicting the 7th house and the 7th lord debilitated on lagna
Jupiter is a strong malefic for Capricorn lagna as it rules two difficult houses: the 12th and the 3rd, and it is placed on the 10th house, representing the knees and legs.
Ketu is on the 11th house which also represents the legs (lower part)
Sun rules the bones and even though it is in its own house, it is on the 8th house and it is on the 6th house on the shashtamsa.
In spite of those difficult areas the native is quite healthy and has not had so far any complicated health situation. She feels strong and enthusiastic. This can be seen in the lagna lord Conjunct the 9th house lord. Even though mercury rules the 6th house, its moolatrikona is the 9th house and brings good results. The Sun, karaka for health and vitality is in its own house (even though being on 8th house). The Navamsha and Shashtamsa also only show minor afflictions. This is of course a relative saying, and just from the comparison with more dramatic cases.
Most of the difficulties mentioned before about children and deliveries happened during the Jupiter period, ruler of 12th and 3rd houses, and during the Saturn period the problem and pain on the knees got aggravated. On 2003 she was running the Saturn-Jupiter bhukti when she had the most intense crisis of pain on the knees. Saturn rules pain and is related with joints and Vata problems. Saturn is on the 6th house on the Navamsha and on the 12th house on the shashtamsa, and Jupiter is the functional afflicting the 10th house. The Yogini Dasha was Saturn-Venus, again Saturn and Venus is the 10th house lord debilitated.
On Saturn-Ketu on year 1990 she had a nervous and emotional crisis. The Yogini dasha was Jupiter-Jupiter.

Chart 10

Chart 10 belongs to a female native 1n 1999, after a period of intense stress, and emotional difficulties she started to have a severe infection which got very complicated generalized infection with very high fever, which put her on the intensive care unit for 6 months. For long time doctors couldn't discover the origin of the infection until they found out it was in a bone of the knee joint. That affected the muscles around too, and after some time the infection got to the heart. She had to be operated and a protesis was put on her heart. She has to take anticoagulant medicines for life, and she is always in danger of bleeding to death if she has an accident or cut where she can bleed.
In 1992 the infection started again and doctors discovered a tumor in the ovaries. She had to be operated and the tumor was removed.

D1
The lagna lord is conjunct Saturn, which rules the 6 th house and aspected by Rahu and Ketu (rashi aspect). Rahu is on the lagna and aspected by Saturn, the 6 th house lord. Lagna lord is on the 6 th house on D30
The 7 th house (ovaries) is afflicted by Ketu, and the 7 th house lord Jupiter is aspected By Mars from the 8 th house, who is the 8 th and 3 rd lord.
Venus is the karaka of the reproductive organs and is conjunct the 12 th house lord and is debilitated on the Navamsa.
The 4 th house (heart and emotions) is afflicted by Saturn, the 6 th lord with the lagna lord.
The 4 th house lord is Jupiter, again, aspected by mars the 8 th and 3 rd lord.
The afflicted lagna lord also rules the 10 th house(knees)
Saturn also aspects the 10 th house.
From Chandra lagna, the 7 th house lord is on the 6 th house and the lagna is aspected by mars and the Sun, the 12 th lord. The 4 th house is aspected by Mars

In the Navamsha, the 4 th house lord is debilitated on the 8 th house. Ketu is on the lagna and the lagna lord is aspected by Mars. The 7 th house is afflicted by Rahu and the 11 th lord and aspected by Saturn.
The ruler of the 8 th house is on the10 th (knees).

On the shashtamsa, the lagna is afflicted by the 6 th and 3 rd lord, afflicting also the moon which rules the 10 th house. Lagna lord is on the 6 th house.
The 7 th lord is on the 12 th house and the 7 th house is aspected by Jupiter lord of the 6 th and 3 rd houses.
The 4 th house lord is on the 8 th house

D30
Jupiter ruler of 8 th and 11 th houses is on lagna
There is an inauspicious parivarthana yoga between the 7 th lord and the 8 th lord.
The lord of lagna and 10 th house of D1 is placed on the 6 th house of D30

Dashas:
All the infection and the other problems happened during the Ketu Vimshottari Dasha. Ketu is a significator for infections, and surgery, and is placed on the 7 th house, reproductive organs.
The beginning or the problem was in Ketu-Sun. Sun is the 12 th lord. At that time she had to be for long time in hospital at intensive care unit The Yogini dasha at that time was Mars-Saturn, the 8 th and 12 th lords. Mars is also the 12 th lord in D30, it is on the 12 th house in D6.
